Buscot Park

Family home of Lord Faringdon, the National Trust’s Buscot Park is a late 18-century house set in enchanting landscaped grounds.

We were commissioned to complete restoration work on the gates and railings, remaking any aged or corroded parts. This included Repoussé to make new leafwork and scrollwork to match what would have been there originally. We were also commissioned to make new window grilles for the entire ground floor.
These grilles had to not only function as a security measure – having the ability to be opened and locked closed – but also had to be ornate and intricate to complement the exquisite metalwork gates and railings at the estate.
