Cotswold Farmhouse
Commissioned by a private client, we removed the existing modern, fabricated drainage grilles and installed bespoke cast-iron grilles.
The objective was to design and produce drainage grilles, both internally and externally, that felt entirely authentic to their surroundings. Careful attention was given to proportion, surface texture, and finish. The result is a series of grilles that blend quietly into the fabric of the property, balancing durability with a subtle, heritage-led aesthetic.
The internal grilles were carefully considered and engineered to meet strict open-air flow requirements, ensuring efficient heat distribution while maintaining compliance with ventilation needs. At the same time, the design aimed to discreetly obscure the heater positioned behind, softening its visual presence without compromising performance.
